Long-term Training Opportunities
See below for the next long-term traineeship opening in each discipline. Applicants will be notified regarding acceptance at least 1 month prior to the opening start date.
Nursing
The application for long-term nursing traineeships opens March 1. Application will be accepted until April 15. Applicant(s) will be notified in mid-May of the UW PPC’s decision.
The traineeship will start around September 1 and run for 12 months. (Orientation day to take place in August.)
Nutrition
Long-term nutrition traineeships start in the fall of each year and run for 9-12 months. Exact start date will be decided with your preceptor upon your acceptance into the traineeship.
Respiratory Care
Long-term respiratory care traineeships start in the fall of each year and run for 9-12 months. Exact start date will be decided with your preceptor upon your acceptance into the traineeship.
Social Work
Long-term social work traineeships start in the fall of each year and run for 9-12 months. Exact start date will be decided with your preceptor upon your acceptance into the traineeship.
Pediatric Pulmonology Medical Fellowships
Fellows with the UW PPC are accepted through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Visit the Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship Program website for more information.
